Businesswoman at Heart

I've had a business card since I was nine.
Back then, we were know as the Service Hunters. I lived in a small apartment complex in Pleasant Grove. Across the street was an old folks' home. I decided to round up a few friends, set up some fliers, make some business cards, and offer a free service to anyone who needed a helping hand for the day. I saw a lot of interesting things...
Next came Summer Camp. Hooray. You've heard all about this one. It was more of a pain getting started, but I made a bit of loot any eleven year old would gain bragging rights from.
I started modeling. Still do. It pays well.
Then teaching piano. It's definitely the easiest one; I get to pick my own hours and wages.
Now we reach the present day- wait for it...
I have a new business.
I woke up the other day to my aunt on the phone asking for me to make a few gift baskets. My orders were to make up some business cards, create some baskets, and deliver them.

Forgivigy

Today, I got a package from a friend's mom. Inside was a note, which read:

Dear Lizzie,
I'm BEARy sorry, life is unBEARable without you as my friend!
Miranda's Mom.

Inside was a 5 pound bag of cinnamon bears.

Yes, in I've eaten nothing else in the past five hours. I'm halfway through the bag.
No, I'm not leaving this spot until it's completely finished.

Dear Miranda's mom... you are forgiven for laughing at my artwork.

Synesthesia

A few weeks ago, we went through a poetry unit in Socratic.
You know, metaphors, similes, slanted rhyme, personification... the basics.
But one thing we talked about really caught my attention.
Synesthesia.
A synesthesia combines two or more senses.
As in, "the air smelled warm with summer," or "the cookies tasted yellow."
Still confused? Watch this. It won't help with the confusion.

Is this crazy or what?!? You may need to watch it once or twice...

Anyhow, synesthesias got me going on my newest personal project.
I'm composing in full score what foods would sound like. So far, I've done rice, lemonade, molases, pinneapple, and watermelon. It's crazy!

Love this stuff.

Life and Advil

Advil saved my life.
Last year when I practically lived in the AF hospital, it saved my life. And now, as I sit here wishing I wasn't sick, Advil is once again saving my life.
Don't you wish we had an Advil for life?
He broke your heart? Here; take an Advil! All the pain will go away!
You're stressed about school? You want better grades? You're tired? You need more money?
ADVIL!
Might I suggest something?
Perhaps we don't need expensive pills to make us smile. Maybe we just need to look around us.
Thank you to Maya, who let me entertain her for a few hours, several months ago. Whenever I see this picture, it makes me smile.
What makes you happy?
Friends?
Family?
Biking?
Reading?
Swimming?
Making cookies?
Eating cookies?
Singing?
Two of the things that I think make me most happy are music and memories. Thinking back on good memories that make me most smile, or even going out and creating memories with my family. Here's a clip of my three-year-old cousin, Claire, you combines these two things.

New and Improved

Last we heard from Lizzie, she was dying. Absolutely drowning in life.

Welll... I'm back!

And I assure you, I'm not just back, I'm better than every before. Not just new and improved, but... completely new person (I figured a new and improved look would be in order, too. My new favorite music! Check it out).

You heard from me in July.
Here's how things have gone since then:

August

We visited California! Cousins- Adam, Audrey, and Claire. In this picture, you will see me, Esther, Audrey, Matthew, and Adam.
Disneyland...The beach...

(...these are crabs... we found and captured at least fifty...)And Hollywood! GUESS WHOSE STAR I VISITED!!! I worship this hunk. Jack Bauer... sigh... I'm currently going through an intense rehabilitation process- I've been banned from watching 24 because of my obsession. :'(

September
School started in September. Maeser Prep. I'm a sophomore. :)

First day of school picture! Awwwwww...
Still getting used to the full dress uniform every Monday. This is Mom and I at Winterfest. Here's my schedule this year:

1. Spanish III

2. Chemistry

3. Intermediate Orchestra

4. AP Music Theory

5. Algebra II

6. Seminary

7-8. Socratic (combined English and World History- so cool!)

We have all eight periods every day. I like it a lot better than A Day/B Day schedules. My favorite classes are definitely Orchestra, Seminary, and Socratic. :)

I also started playing the viola in September. While most people would say, "oh, intermediate orchestra isn't that big of a deal. It means you're not an amateur anymore, but you're not amazing," I say, "I'm proud of being in intermediate." You'll love this: I had played viola for one day when we had to fit out our schedules. Beginning Orchestra and AP Music Theory (the class I kinda came to Maeser for in the first place), are both scheduled for fourth period. I wanted to be in Orchestra so bad! I called up the teacher and asked her if there was any possible way for her to let me into Intermediate. "I'll work so hard!" I told her. "If you notice that it's too hard or you think I should take a break for awhile, I'll take something different and I'll take this next year." She gave me an audition... AND I MADE IT!!! I PLAYED FOR A WEEK! I ONLY KNEW TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR!!!

I'm so happy.

I learned on the first day of school that orchestra is a competitive class. If you don't get first chair, you're terrible. Glad I could take the fall for everybody- I got fifth chair. I loved it! Now, we're playing three movements of a song in which I play first chair. Concert in May.

I had my birthday. Fifteen, baby! Oh, man... this seems like so long ago now...

October

I can't say I feel really bad, but while the rest of my school stayed at home in Utah and took the SAT, I was partying in Jamaica. Yes, Jamaica, mon. What was I doing in Jamaica?
I love my school. I love, love, love, love, LOVE my school. The one and only thing I hate about my school is what you get when you ask the question, "so, what's your favorite vacation you've ever been on?" At AF you would have gotten, "Moab," "Disneyland," or maybe "Hawaii." At Maeser, your typical response is, "Paris," or "Italy," or "Africa," or "Japan." In this and this alone, I hate Maeser.
My family had been to Disneyland several times. We have a family cabin down in Cedar City that we try to visit once a year. But this time, it was my turn to go on an epic vacation.
Think... CRUISE. Yes, my friends, my family went on a cruise.

The kids didn't even have to get to Florida for them to be in heaven... this is Esther on her first plane ride. Our first day was spent at sea. On the second day, we hit our first stop- Haiti. This one was my favorite. I know what you're all thinking, especially after the great big earthquake... the images of darkness and poverty all over the streets... the face of a dirty little girl who hasn't had a meal in two days... actually, the cruise line we were on owns a port of Haiti that wasn't touched during the earthquake. Imagine paradise. I'm dead serious- when I think paradise, I now think of Haiti.

Perfect beach, with rolling mountains and trees in the background...
Blue water... Perfect temperature, too.We found a couple interesting things. Day two: Jamaica. We did some sweet things in Jamaica. Like climb a waterfall. Not just any waterfall. We were in the waterfall. In it. Coolest thing ever. Seriously. You have to try this. Day three: Cayman Islands. We went snorkling with sting rays. :)

It was awesome. They drove us out into the middle of nowhere in a boat until we came to this part of the ocean that was only four or five feet deep. There were a bunch of sting rays just floating around. They came right up to you! Several of them began swimming up my chest!

I KISSED ONE!!! It's supposed to be seven years' good luck for every kiss. So, one... two... four... twenty-eight years of good luck. TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS OF GOOD LUCK!!!

They also have a Hard Rock Cafe. I got a bunch of guitar picks... and a hat. :)Day four: Cozumel, Mexico. We spent this day around town, checking out cute little shops and stuff. I became a pro bargainer. A cute pair of earings I found? $95! Guess what I got it down to?

$5. :)

This is Esther, Matthew, and me in a cute little Mexican food restaurant. I taught them well, didn't I?

Dad and I loved Mexico because we got to say everything in Spanish. My poor Scottish friends that couldn't talk to anyone all day...

I also met a ton of friends on my cruise! :)
Me on Stuart's back and Arielle on Josh's back.

Stuart and Josh are both from Scotland. Arielle is from Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Arielle and I got to participate in a DJing class while on board. Here's us on "graduation day:"I sure miss these guys. :'(
Stuart and me!Sam, Cody... licking me... Stuart, me, Dylan and Arielle, and Catherine. :)November

We moved from one school building to another in November. Our old building, if you remember, was the old bowling alley on State Street. Our new building looks very much like the state capitol building. Soooo sweet. And it has a lunchroom! And bathrooms with sparkly yellow counter tops and cherry red bathroom stalls! So cool. Here's some pictures of me with my gorgeous Maeser friends on moving day:

Sadie. I swear fate has drawn us together... we knew each other when we were tiny little babies. Our moms visit taught together, so we played a lot. She moved away. After we came to Utah and moved around a lot for several years, we moved to where we now currently reside, to find that Sadie was in my ward! She moved away. About a year ago, I came to Maeser to sign up for classes, and lo and behold! Who should appear, but Sadie? I'm kinda sorta her number one stalker. I'm sorry you got me and not a cute boy.

This is Laurel, Erin, and Miranda. We found some bubble wrap while we packed. This was also a free-dress day because they didn't want us to mess up our uniforms, just in case you were wondering.

My dad also became the bishop of our ward in November.

December

December contained Christmas. I got a new keyboard. I have put it to very good use. :)

January

I love this new school. Have I mentioned how much I love Maeser? I do. It's my life now. My heart goes out to everybody that doesn't go to Maeser because a) you think you're too cool (which you're totally not), b) you couldn't get in, or c) you're super duper lame.

Well... we do this thing called Winterim. It lasts for three weeks in January. During this time, there's no school and everybody takes a fun class that would basically rock on a college application.

For instance, one group went to Peru to do a bunch of humanitarian service.

One group learned karate.

One group learned Japanese.

One group went to California and studyed the Holocaust.

One group did a School of Rock thing.

While all of these things sound awesome, you are about to become a living witness that my group was the best.
Wintervention: Winter sports, survival, and service.

Week one was spent at the National Ability Center at Park City Ski Resort. We worked with several cancer victims, most of whom lost limbs along the way. We helped them learn how to ski. It was so neat!

Week two was spent at Sundance. One day we did cross country skiing and skate skiing (very similar). Don't let people fool you- I was told that skate skiing would be a whole heck of a lot harder. Not so; I prefer it.

Another day, we had to switch sports. I learned how to ski. I did awesome; on day one I rode my first black diamond... on one ski. I wish I could say I did it on purpose.

Another day, we went with ski patrol and taught the lessons.

One of the coolest things we did all week was the avalanche training. After we had talked about rescuing people, they took us to the bottom of a great big hill and had us watch as they brought a ski patrol down. On its way down, it stopped and went back up a little bit. It started digging! We had all skiied down this hill and there was a person underneath! It was soo cool to see the dog digging him out.

For week three, we freerode. We spent a lot of time in the park...

We also put on a Special Olympics snowshoeing event. I invited Kevin, from my ward, to come. He loved it. I was so thrilled!

Some of my Winterim buddies: Cody, Evan, Daniel, and Quinton.Coolest. Winterim. EVER... jealous?

Also in the month of January, my grandparents came home from their mission (Australia, remember?). It's so great to have them back!

Karma decided it didn't want me too happy because of a homecoming, so it took somebody away from me.For all those of you who voted for Mike Lee, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You're the reason Janessa now lives in Washington D.C. :'(
We through her a farewell party at the Blue Lemon, then at Sister Sedlar's house. We even through her a stake dance! Best stake dance ever...

Matthew turned eight, got baptized, and became a scout.
February
Jessi learned how to snowboard! I got to go with her. It was so fun!March
Nothing of note.

April

Registered drivers of Utah... be careful. Guess who got her permit?

My first-ever parking job:

Don't worry. I'm a much better driver now. :)

I had my first orchestra competition... a little scary... but I got the chance to take pictures of lots of my new Maeser friends! Here they are...
This is Tiana and Miranda, with Gorgeous (a.k.a. Ben) on top. :)Here's me with a duck face, Coco with an excited face, and Miranda with a skeptical face.
We also "vacationed" in Ogden for a few days over the Spring Break while Esther had a dance competition. Matthew and I remained in the hotel for most of the time after we were done seeing the Ogden temple (which is smalled than my house) and all the cute little shops. I've never seen, nor have I wanted to see, so much TV in my life! I wish channels would play something different every once in awhile. After the fifth playing of Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Arc, I was about ready to become a Nazi, just to kill Indiana. Not really. I love him.
Here's the Ogden temple:Doesn't it look like a mini Provo temple?!?

May
Mostly, all I guess I can really discuss is the future, here... for instance...

MAY NINTH.

MAY NINTH.

MAY NINTH.

MAY NINTH.

What, might you ask, happens on May ninth?

Why, you mean you haven't gotten the invitation to my funeral yet?

Well, expect one.

Because I die on May ninth.

It's the day of the AP Music Theory test.

I'M FREAKING OUT A LITTLE BIT!!!

Let me break it down for you.

A third of it is the written stuff. Answering questions. Your every day AP test.

A third of it is writing music. They play a full orchestra piece or a quartet of some kind and you have to pick out the different parts and write them down note for note.

And the last third... the one I'm the most nervous for at the moment... allow me to explain...

This third is singing. They give you a piece you've never seen before in your life and you have to sing it a Capella. This isn't why I'm nervous. Until a few days ago, I wasn't worried a single bit about this section. Didn't even bat an eye over it.

That was... before I lost my voice.

See why I'm freaking... just a bit?

Yeah... well... we'll see how this goes.

...anything else?

New background, new music. I've changed my music style a bit... I tend to like songs not too many people have heard before. The only problem being that I can't find half of them on playlist.com, where I get this playlist.

I think that's about it!

Look out world; I'm officially back.

Being Mom/LIFE

Wouldn't recommend it.

I love children. I really do. And I can't wait to have some of my own someday. But my mom's gone to Australia visiting my grandparents who are serving a mission down there and my dad just started a new job so the full-time babysitting job falls on... me.
Being mom is much harder than it looks. Cooking breakfast, lunch, and most often dinner (dad handled a few meals), shipping kids off to their things, cleaning up everything, handling jobs and other stuff is much harder than it looks. I appreciate my mother much more than she left, if at all possible.
First day on the job was one of the worst days of my life. I've been trying to get all of my friends to go to the swimming pool and stuff with me all summer long, and I swear on the one day I can't go anywhere, everybody all of a sudden wants to go to the pool. No, seriously. I got at least 30 texts that day from people that all of a sudden could go to the pool. Or the movies. Or even call night games. It just about killed me to say no. Then Esther and Matthew were "you're-not-my-mom-you-can't-tell-me-what-to-do"ing me all day long...
Nightmare.
The next day was much better. We went to Timp Cove Park with Tyson and Logan and their siblings. Man, I haven't seen those guys in forever... it was way fun. :)
Then when we came home we went to the pine wood derby, where Matthew did awesome! Afterwords, we went and got the Percy Jackson movie.
All of you avid book readers (I'm one too) that get mad at people who love that movie, I'm sorry for saying this but I really like that movie.
Yes, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the book besides the Gods and the name Percy Jackson, but it's still pretty good.
I've gotten yelled at so many times for saying that I like that movie. Geez.
Friday was good too.
Saturday... July 3rd... here's where the fun comes. Saturday was easily one of the best days of my entire life. Top 15 or something... wait...

1. First time I held Esther
2. First time I held Matthew
3. When I found out we were getting Matthew
4. Sealing to Esther
5. Sealing to Matthew
6. Ward campout
7. Ward campout in Duvall
8. 5th birthday (surprise party at Disneyland)
9. Won Sonatina festival
10. Back to school shopping with Mom
11. Field trip to China town in 3rd grade
12...

Okay, ya, somewhere in the top 15.
Got up super early to go to the Provo Parade.
Picked up Tyson and Kylie because they were coming with us to keep us company.
Drove to Provo. Found the perfect parking spot.
Walked to the parade.
Streets were empty. It was awesome.
Chairs were set up everywhere. Also empty.
At this point, we were a little worried. What was going on? Was their a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles and everybody's too busy freaking out and killing people to go to a parade?
I think this 24 thing is really starting to go to my head...
Eventually we asked somebody where all the people had gone. Guess what he said.
"Come back Monday and people might be here!"
He was even smiling when he said it.
Are you flippin kidding me?!? I WOKE UP SO STINKING EARLY ON A SATURDAY TO COME TO THIS!!! PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO BE HERE! JUST MAKE THE PARADE COME!!!
Emphasis on how tired I was all day long.
Although I think I wasn't the tiredest... Matthew was a grouch and Tyson was yawning all day long.
To make it up to us, we got giant doughnuts from Macey's.
Like, giant doughnuts. I got 2 of my favorite kind. You know, the chocolate glazed with Fourth of July sprinkles? Those are the best. And they had the long ones. The super long ones. The six-by-three inch ones. Oooooooh man.
Yum.
Macey's was totally empty, too. Awesome.
We then went home, tried and failed at napping, showered and fixed ourselves up so we didn't look like we had just gotten up at an unearthly hour to go to a non-existent parade, did chores, etc., etc.
Three hours later we were picking up Tyson and Kylie again (this time with Taylor the amazing) to go to the pool. I had a cute red, white, and blue swimsuit on so it totally fit in and it was, like, woah. I have to swim. Let's swim. In my Fourth of July swimsuit.
It was basically amazing. :)
We swam for three hours or so at the PG pool. I think our lives were deeply affected by something out of this world that day because, as with everything else that had happened that day, the pool was empty. It was kind of freaky...
We alternated between the line-less water slide, the line-less diving boards, the empty hot tub, and the deep end of the pool, which is so small that our group made it a lot more cozy than not.
Oh, it was amazing.
Did you know that Esther can go off the diving boards now? She was totally doing some pretty sweet tricks up there! Pencils and... pencils and... pencils but it was still awesome to see her doing that.
We all had contests to see who could make the biggest splashes and who could dive the deepest and who could swim the farthest and who could bump these diving ring things by splashing water onto the pavement with our bodies. That, like many other thing about this day, was amazing... hahahaha...
Once we were done there, we dropped the Maags off (sniffle) and went to...
The one.
The only.
Ladies and gentlemen... TUCANOS!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhh!
Man, I love that place.
Meat. Meat galore.
Turkey wrapped in bacon.
Garlic sirloin.
Steak. Medium rare.
And the best... grilled pineapple.
HEAVEN!
If you haven't been, I'm totally taking you. Just save up all of your money for this year and next and maybe we'll be able to go in five years! Yay!
No, seriously. Make Tucanos a priority. At the top of your to-do list for life.
Like, before get a driver's license. Ya. It's that important.
Bam.
So we ate at Tucanos. It's my dad's birthday month so he gets a free meal. They sang to him in Portuguese and everything. It was legit. When they came by to ask who has the birthday, Esther and Matthew and I all stared and my dad stood up. It was awesome to have the 39 year old get sung to and receive a little ice cream sundae with all of us tiny little kids just watching.
That's another one of those "must accomplish in this life" experiences. Do it.
Just do it. Nike.
Hahahahaha... long story. It's kind of an inside joke...
Nevermind.
K.
So.
Then we went to the PG Jr. High to reserve spots for us, the Jensens, Becks, and the Maags.
It was funny because once we set up our blankets and spread them out so we had a ton of space, Esther and Matthew went and played on the playsets so it looked like my dad and I were hogging up the entire field. :)
I got bored and walked to the Jensen/Beck's house. They weren't home. I walked back. I sat on a blanket and took a nap.
It was a pretty eventful time of my life.
I napped until Matthew sat on me. I looked up and everybody was there and I had a million texts. :)
Man, I love those smiley things. Don't you?
Let us now take a moment to appreciate the smiley.
:)
And the winkey.
;)
And the frown.
:(
And the kissey.
:*
And the clown.
:0)
And the angel.
0:)
And the sad...ey? Whiney? Cryey?
:',(
And the boy smile.
:D
Everybody knows the boy smile. I love the boy smile. It means happiness.
:D
:D
:D
Anyways... fireworks.
Way fun.
Cold, but fun. We were all squeezing into blankets (I was covered) and just watching the fireworks.
The best part was when a line of fireworks tipped over and fireworks went everywhere except... up. Know what I mean?
They went flying over to the school. (YAY! Down with the Vikings!)
Hahahahahahahaha... it was pretty sweet.
I mean... *cough* *cough* it was NOT funny. My friend Chase actually got hit in the leg with a firework. People got hurt! NOT funny. >: (
Hahaha... that's an angry face... hahaha... okay I'm done.
So the fireworks were amazing too.
See why it was a good day?
Ya. It was awesome.
K. Sunday was awesome.
Monday was super boring. My dad just switched jobs (yay! He's really excited for this one! He's programming for stock brokers, apparently. Something like that. Sounds boring to me, but he likes it) and so Monday was his day off. He took the kids to the pool.
All the scouts are on their canoeing high adventure thing this week so I couldn't text them and I got extremely bored. Sat around watching movies and playing games and texting one or two people that didn't ditch me for something fun. (thanks guys)
Tuesday was day one of SUMMER CAMP!
And the day I fell in love.
I thought I knew what love was... until that day. This is for real, people. I am in love. Oooooooooooh man.
You know those clowns that walk around with twisty balloons and twist them into millions of shapes? Hats and poodles and monkeys and swords? It's an art. And it has bewitched me, mind and soul.
Never again will I love so deeply as I love creating balloon sculptures.
No, seriously. I'm a pro.
Anybody want a hat or something?
Hahaha... okay so the summer camp theme this year is Disneyland. Every day is a new ride from Disneyland. Tuesday was Goofy's Playhouse. Basically I did a clown school. (I was in charge) For clown school I learned how to make a bunch of balloon sculptures. So cool. I had, like 100 or so the other day. Used them all. Loved it.
Dad promised to bring home another package today. PSYCHED!
I know, you know that I'm not telling the truth... hahaha if you watch that show I LOVE YOU!!!
Anyways... summer camp.
Yesterday was Jungle Cruise. Today is It's a Small World and I'm in charge again. I had to learn how to use chopsticks to be able to do summer camp today! :)
Man, this summer camp thing is really getting to my head. :) I love it.
You know what is also getting to my head? 24! Ahhhhhh!!!
I love that show! I'm totally addicted!
I'M GOING TO MARRY JACK BAUER SOMEDAY!!! I LOVE HIM!!! AHHHHHH!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Okay, I have to go now. I've got another date with Jack Bauer before summer camp starts today. ;) Hasta luego!

National Wear-No-Shoes Day

Hello to all of those lovely people in my life!!!
Today is national wear no shoes day.
Why?
Because I say so.
So, take your shoes off.
Do it.
Right.
Now.
Yeah... it started in Mythology when we had to take off our shoes for Yoga, but I just never put them back on.
It's really fun.
Although you do have to walk around with your shoes all day long.
Hahaha... it's awesome.
Guess what?!?
It's Pacman's 30th birthday!!!
Go to Google. Right now. It has to be today.
You can play Pacman.
It's basically amazing.
We're in Computer Tech right now, surfing Grooveshark and blogging.
A.K.A. Hans Zimmer and John Powell. MY HEROS!!!
Right now I'm listening to everything Hans Zimmer put into Madagascar 2 and Pirates and The Italian Job... remember that one?
And looking up 101 things to do when you're bored in class.
Yeah, we're doing a lot of them right now.
Way fun.
My favorite one is to pretend that my scar is hurting.
"Ouch! Oooooooouch! Not Voldemort!!!" (spoken in a British accent)
I must go now.
I have to study for an Espanol test next period.
Emm3a says hi.
Farewell!
Love to you all!
The Quote of Today isn't funny.
Hasta luego!

INSANITY

I'll tell you one thing that's insane.

This is my 100th post on this blog!
Congratulations! You are reading something over spectacularly spledidlyumpciously amazing!
You just don't know it yet.
Hahaha... I am watching Enchanted right now.
"I want to go on a date."
"A date! ... what's a date?"
Hahahahaha... and now they're singing.
"I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss!"
Ahhhhh!!! Love this movie!
Okay. Sorry. Got a little off-topic there.
Guess what?
Today we cleaned out and turned in our lockers! We took all of our stuff home!
The only problem is... where do I put all of it?
All of you fellow AP Huggers: bonfire, my backyard, 7 o' clock, on Tuesday. Refreshments will be served.
Hahaha... we had way too much fun in that class.
We call it AP Hug class, but it's really AP Human Geography.
I wish it was AP Hug class. I wouldv'e gotten 1000000000000000000000% in that class every term and a perfect score on the final!
Psh. I wish. Psh.
Yeah, right.
New music! Check it out!
My current favorite song in the entire world is Only Hope from A Walk to Remember. I've kinda sorta been in the rainy mood and this song fits in perfectly.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of Mandy Moore either. But I am absolutely in love with this song!
Okay, check it out.
I did this in Seminary today before we got all serious and bore our testimonies of our experience in Seminary this year (which was way neat, by the way. Even a few guys shed some tears).
You read it left to right, and down. Just like you would read any normal blog post of mine.
Reading it out loud is even better (to somebody is the best- especially if they don't know what you're reading!).
You can read it sentence by sentence, like you really want to, later.
Just not yet.
Ready?

Yay!
Wasn't that fun?
You now have my permission to go back and read the individual sentences like you are dying to.
Unless, of course, you already did.
In which case, you are a terrible person who deserves to be dismembered, struck by lightning, shriveled up and burned, after which buried in an unmarked grave underneath a million miles of ocean with nothing but the flesh-eating sharks to keep you company.
I told you not to do that.
You should totally try one of those. It's way fun.
Anyways, on to the actual post.
Remember the title?
INSANITY?
Quick intro...
Brandi.
She's way cool.
Like, unbelievably cool.
So, we were comparing planners (both were pretty amazing) and I saw on her planner that every single day starts with "INSANITY."
Apparently, this is a workout program or something.
However, my mind interpretted this a little bit differently.
Because, those of you who know me well, know that in my mind, everything sounds like a challenge.
Things such as "Lizzie, would you ever jump off this roof?"
Or, "Lizzie, don't go off that cliff!"
Or, "this year, Lizzie, no painful April Fools jokes. Or jokes that call police officers down here."
Or, "DON'T JUMP OFF THIS SKI LIFT!"
Hahahahaha... good times...
One of these days I am going to be seriously hurt.
So, anyways, I challenge you to a little something this Summer that I like to call INSANITY.
Every single day, you must find something absolutely, positively INSANE to do.
Like, mylifeisaverage.com worthy. That insane.
Have you ever been there, by the way?
I've written one or two submissions.
So be INSANE with me.
I triple dog dare ya.
Something like conducting an egg drop.
Something like this (well, what happened before this)...
Dancing in the rain and searching for rainbows!
By the way, this is on my new bed!!!
I love this bed!
Look, it has those bump things that you can push in! That's seriously what I do all night long until I fall asleep...
Gosh, I have amazing friends. That was the famous Jess, y'all!
LOVE HER!!!
Okay? Are you with me? INSANITY?
Cross your heart.
CROSS IT!!!
There. You see? You crossed it.
Now there's no backing out.
I'll be posting about my INSANITY as often as I can. Now it's up to you to a) do it, and b) tell me about it. Most amazing INSANITY idea gets... a prize. Yeah. An amazing one. An INSANELY AMAZING one.
Prizes will vary; depends on the person.
For instance, Katie would probably want something different than Mom would want (yeah, Mom. This applies to you, too. Although I will admit that it would be INSANE if you just did one insane thing. LOVE YOU!!!)
Come on. I know there's a lot of you that read this junk.
This message is for you.
Even if it's something your entire YW is doing.
Even if it's natural for other people, but INSANE for you.
Even if it's just saying something funny that is just absolutely INSANE.
Okay?
Even just one flippin' day!!!
Report back to me when accomplished.
Note: If you want the prize, you must tell me that you have accepted my challenge. Pictures of the insane event counts for bonus points.
Glad we all see eye to eye on this now.
Happy last week of school, everybody!
I'll keep you posted!
Farewell!
I LOVE YOU ALL!
No, seriously. If you take the time to read this, I must really, really love you.
With.
All.
Of.
My.
HEART!!!
LOVE YOU!!!
Hasta luego; speaking of which, I gotta go study for a test in Espanol.
Hasta luego!
The Quote of Today is something that Albert Einstein said! Besides "Wahoo!"
Quote of Today: Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
